Febrero 2024. <\/strong>Tecnol\u00f3gico Nacional de M\u00e9xico - Conkal (TecNM Campus Conkal) y la Universidad Americana de Beirut (AUB) firmaron un convenio de colaboraci\u00f3n para implementar el proyecto \"Las universidades pueden cambiar el mundo FASE II\".<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Como parte de las universidades implementadoras del modelo de Transformaci\u00f3n de la Educaci\u00f3n Superior, el prop\u00f3sito central es formar agentes de cambio con liderazgo, s\u00f3lidos conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos y cient\u00edficos, valores \u00e9ticos y esp\u00edritu emprendedor comprometidos con la sociedad y el medio ambiente.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Como parte del evento, que se efectu\u00f3 de forma virtual, participaron las m\u00e1ximas autoridades del Tecnol\u00f3gico de M\u00e9xico \u2013 Conkal y los representantes de AUB, GCHERA y el proyecto Transforming Higher Education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cLa firma del convenio entre la Universidad Americana de Beirut y el Tecnol\u00f3gico Nacional de M\u00e9xico Campus Conkal, que, aunque distan en ubicaci\u00f3n e idioma, convergen en visi\u00f3n y esencia, es una muestra de cooperaci\u00f3n interinstitucional que refrenda el compromiso de impulsar las acciones necesarias para fortalecer la formaci\u00f3n de recursos humanos con liderazgo, conocimientos t\u00e9cnicos y cient\u00edficos s\u00f3lidos, valores \u00e9ticos y esp\u00edritu emprendedor comprometidos con la sociedad y el medioambiente\u201d<\/em> declara Jorge Gamboa, facilitador del proyecto en el TecNM Campus Conkal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En noviembre de 2023, se firm\u00f3 la segunda fase del proyecto, con un compromiso de inversi\u00f3n de $1 mill\u00f3n. El objetivo es seguir revolucionando la educaci\u00f3n y consolidar un cambio transformador en las cuatro universidades piloto y la AUB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cEste acuerdo de colaboraci\u00f3n entre la Universidad Americana de Beirut y el Instituto Tecnol\u00f3gico de Conkal se basa en una relaci\u00f3n contin\u00faa basada en el inter\u00e9s mutuo de mejorar la calidad de sus instituciones educativas y de sus graduados apoyado por el proyecto Los Institutos de Educaci\u00f3n Superior Pueden Cambiar el Mundo, liderados por la AUB. El acuerdo mejorar\u00e1 la colaboraci\u00f3n universitaria en las \u00e1reas de capacitaci\u00f3n, educaci\u00f3n superior, investigaci\u00f3n para la resoluci\u00f3n de problemas, emprendimiento y participaci\u00f3n comunitaria para graduar l\u00edderes \u00e9ticos y agentes de cambio que contribuyan al desarrollo rural y empresarial en M\u00e9xico, el L\u00edbano y en todo el mundo\u201d<\/em> cierra Jim French, director del proyecto de Transformaci\u00f3n de la Educaci\u00f3n Superior.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

En los pr\u00f3ximos meses, se medir\u00e1 el impacto de la transformaci\u00f3n universitaria, incluyendo cambios en la cultura estudiantil y docente, as\u00ed como los efectos en los graduados y en las comunidades rurales debido a la transformaci\u00f3n de los modelos educativos de estas universidades.
